Drafter – Remote – OR, WA, MT, UT, NC, GA & CO

We are looking to add a skilled Telecommunications Designer/Drafter to our ADP team.  

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently of daily supervision, be detailed and organized and ensure follow-through processes are completed in a timely manner. We are looking for a communicator with verbal and listening skills, a person able to multi-task under pressure of priority deadlines, that can change directives quickly, is willing to learn and become self-reliant. The individual should have excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. This person should have the ability to effectively communicate and  maintain composure, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions to contribute to a positive, respectful and productive work atmosphere. Remote position – preference to candidates in OR, WA, MT, UT, NC, GA & CO.

Minimum Requirements:  40 Hour position – willing to work a varying schedule at times, to meet the needs of the position, occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

• High school diploma or GED
• Eighteen (18) years of age
• 1+ years full time experience using AutoCAD earned through professional experience or school.
• Professional experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Access Database.

Preferred (not required):

• Experience working in client proprietary software/other drafting and GIS software.
• Prior experience within the telecommunications/utility industry and outside plant design.
• Right of way permit and/or traffic control plan experience.
