Quality Assurance Specialist – Remote

Preferred candidates will be considered who reside in OR, WA, UT, MT, NC, GA and IN.
This position will support internal departments through the completion of projects. The work is accomplished through coordination to establish and meet standards and deadlines, follow processes, and ensure quality of the designs and drafts used during construction for clients.
The ideal candidate will have persistent attention to detail, strong communication skills (both verbal and listening), the ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage their time efficiently. This person is motivated with a willingness to learn and grow with the ability to be self-reliant in problem solving.
Work may, at times, require a varying schedule to meet the needs of the position (evening and weekend work may be required).
Minimum Requirements:
– High school diploma or GED
– Minimum eighteen (18) years of age
– Full experience using Microsoft Office Suite – including Excel, Access & Outlook
– Experience manipulating PDF documents – KOFAX
Beneficial experience – preferred but not required:
– Evaluating CAD designs or drafting plans for completeness and accuracy.
– Wireless telecommunications projects, outside plant or mapping operations for fiber optic networks.
– Reading and understanding operation manuals, technical drawings, and schematics.
– Interacting with quality control of drafting, engineering, zoning or construction departments.
– Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and/or other applicable industry standards.
– Analyzing zoning maps, tax maps, or other maps for properties.
– Developing or analyzing drawings and specifications for utility system projects.
– Surveying or mapping.

Job Type: Online, Full-time (8 hour shift, Mon – Fri)
Salary: Starting @ $19.00 per hour
